Welcome to Go Kayak Cancún. By making a reservation or participating in one of our experiences, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

  1. Reservations

Reservations are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

By completing your booking, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

  1. Arrival Time

Guests must arrive at Marina Scuba Cancún at least 20 minutes before their scheduled departure time.

Tours depart on time. Late arrivals may miss the tour and will be considered a no-show, with no refund unless otherwise stated in the applicable cancellation policy.

  1. Safety Requirements

Your safety is our highest priority.

All participants must:

Wear the provided life jacket at all times during the tour.
Follow all instructions given by the guide before and during the experience.
Respect all safety procedures and operational decisions made by the guide.

Go Kayak Cancún reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any guest from the tour, without refund, if their behavior is considered unsafe, disruptive, aggressive, or if they appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or fail to follow safety instructions.

  1. Participant Requirements
    Minimum age: 8 years.
    Children must share a tandem kayak with an accompanying adult.
    Maximum weight per participant: 115 kg (250 lb).
    No previous kayaking experience is required.

This experience is not recommended for:

Pregnant women.
Guests recovering from recent surgery.
Guests with significant back problems or limited mobility.
Anyone with a medical condition that could affect their safe participation.

Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of participating in this activity.

  1. Weather Policy

Tours operate only when weather and safety conditions allow.

Go Kayak Cancún reserves the right to postpone, modify or cancel any tour due to:

Heavy rain
Thunderstorms
Strong winds
Unsafe water conditions
Government restrictions
Natural events
Any other circumstance that may compromise guest safety

If Go Kayak Cancún cancels a tour, guests may choose between:

Rescheduling the experience, or
Receiving a full refund.
6. Cancellation Policy

Customer cancellations and refunds are subject to the cancellation policy selected at the time of booking.

Please review your confirmation email or booking details for the cancellation terms that apply to your reservation.

  1. Wildlife

Our tours take place within a protected natural ecosystem.

Wildlife sightings vary according to natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed.

  1. Assumption of Risk

Kayaking is an outdoor adventure activity that involves inherent risks.

By participating, guests acknowledge and accept risks including, but not limited to:

Slips and falls
Capsizing
Contact with water
Sun exposure
Heat and dehydration
Physical exertion
Contact with insects, vegetation, or wildlife
Changing weather conditions
Minor or serious injuries

Guests voluntarily assume these risks and agree to participate at their own responsibility.

  1. Limitation of Liability

By participating in the experience, guests acknowledge that they do so voluntarily and at their own risk.

Go Kayak Cancún, its owners, employees and guides shall not be liable for injuries, accidents, illness, property loss, theft or damage arising from:

The inherent risks associated with outdoor adventure activities.
Failure to follow safety instructions.
Negligent or reckless behavior by the participant.
Pre-existing medical conditions.
Circumstances beyond the company’s reasonable control, including force majeure events.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

  1. Equipment

All equipment provided by Go Kayak Cancún must be used responsibly.

Guests may be held financially responsible for equipment intentionally damaged or damaged through negligent use.

Normal wear resulting from proper use is excluded.

  1. Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings.

We recommend bringing only essential items and avoiding valuables whenever possible.

Go Kayak Cancún is not responsible for lost, stolen or water-damaged personal property.

  1. Photography

Our guides may occasionally take photographs or videos during the experience.

These images may be used for promotional or marketing purposes unless the guest notifies us before the tour begins that they prefer not to appear in such materials.

  1. Privacy

Personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for reservation management, customer service and legal obligations.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the United Mexican States.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Quintana Roo, Mexico.
